Location: Northeast of Phoenix, AZ
Date Taken: February 4, 2004
Comments: A rare snowfall coats the Four Peaks Wilderness Area north of Phoenix. The snow and the clouds above reflect a red and pink setting sun. The group of Saguaro cactus looks oddly out of place in this setting -- Saguaro and snow do not usually belong in the same place. The snow only lasts a day or two before surrendering to the hot desert sun.
